Week 2

SPAGHETTI CARBONARA

100g parmesan

200g Bacon Lardons

3 large eggs

350g spaghetti 

75ml of single cream

2 plump garlic cloves, peeled and left whole

50g unsalted butter

sea salt and freshly grated black pepper

100grms fresh parsley.

Mexican Eggs 

1 large onion

8 medium-sized ripe tomatoes

1 tin of  chopped tomatoes

5 spring onions

3 Chili

3 cloves of garlic

Cumin [pinch)

Sugar [pinch)

4 medium eggs

100grms fresh coriander,

100grms fresh Basil 

Corn tortillas/ Nachos 

Sour Cream 1 tub 

Oregano -dried (pinch)

Paprika (pinch)

Chilli powder (pinch)

1 red onion

2 limes

Oregano -dried (pinch)

2 ripe avocados

TURKEY BURGERS & FLATBREAD

1 packet active dry yeast or (1/2 tsp of Mrs. Allisson’s dry yeast) *
3/4 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp sugar
260 g Plain Flour
180 ml warm water*
1tsp olive oil (for coating bowl)

500grm turkey mince
2 spring onions chopped
2 minced garlic crushed or minced
1 tsp ground cumin
1 handful chopped fresh coriander
1 tbsp. rapeseed oil
Pinch of Salt & Pepper.

Notes:
We used baby gem lettuce, sliced tomato, mayo & sriracha sauce for our burgers.

 


 

QUICK BEEF RAGU WITH PAPPARDELLE


380grm of minced beef.
4-5 tbsp. rapeseed oil.
1 onion finely chopped.
1 carrot finely chopped.
4 garlic cloves, minced.
3 tsp of Oregano.
1 can (400grm) of chopped tomatoes.
250 ml beef stock. (1 beef bouillon cubes)

Tomato paste x 1 tablespoon

Parmesan to serve.
