Another Fine Mess Outdoor Summer Camps are great for those who would love to learn more about culinary skills while also enjoying the social aspect of the workshop. The cooking program is centred around healthy eating and enjoying a balanced healthy diet.
The camp is for ages 12 to 17 years. We do our best to team up similar age groups to work together for the week; however, friends can always choose to work together if they would prefer. There are only 20 spaces available in each weekly camp.
Participants will get to eat two or more dishes they have made during the day's workshops. So a light enough breakfast is advised before attending!
Our veg & our meats are locally sourced where possible, and all recipes and menu items are demonstrated or made from scratch.
Participants get hands-on experience in teams of two working at their stations, learning skills such as:
Knife Skills- (Opinel "le Petit Chef" kids safety knives for teens workshops)
Cooking for friends.
Basic Fermenting skills - healthy fizzy drinks.
Fish filleting demonstration.
Basic Food Sustainability.
A general class is as follows:
Participants watching a short demo.
Preparing their dishes with the skills learned using our pop-up cooking equipment.
Sit down and enjoy their meal together.
Clean down and get ready for home time.
We are an outdoor "pop-up cooking camp" we use our specially designed tables and have two Ooni pizza ovens on site.
The camps will run weekly Monday - Friday.
10.15 AM- 3.15 PM (5hr class)
Week 2: June 27st-1st
Week 3: July 11th- 15th
Week 4: July 18th-22nd
The cost per person: is €294.50. The booking deposit is €150.
The remaining payment is to be made on the first day of attendance.
